At ST*R Learning, our mission is to make learning meaningful, memorable and fun. We are specialists in work-based training, development and consultancy.
Experts at your service
We are a British family business, founded in 2003. As a family we have shared values and an ethos that puts people at the heart of everything we do. Roger Stent leads our team and our academy of associates. He specialises in training design and quality of delivery and is a firm believer in continuous personal development. Carolle Thompson looks after our clients, our marketing, and the commercial aspects of the business. Nicola Becker draws on her editorial background and linguistic expertise to ensure the quality of our training material. Lisa Teale assists us all with her unfailing good humour and support, and is responsible for the production of course materials.
With over 40 associates, each a specialist in their field, we have the expertise to put together a corporate training package that is tailored and truly relevant to your needs. Whether you want to develop your leaders, build your team, strengthen your management skills or grow sales, we can call on experts in these areas and many more.

Costs and fading
We can offer a range of services to suit your budget. We frequently find funding sources for our clients and may be able to point you to one appropriate to you. For example, we maintain close links with skills brokers who have access to government funding and advice. Some of our clients, such as CitySense, have benefited from fully-funded training and development as a result.
